18th Handicraft Fair to held at Hyatt Regency Hotel
The Federation of Handicraft Associations of Nepal (FHAN) officially announces the date for 18th Handicraft Fair and 16th Craft Competition. The events are set to take place simultaneously at Hyatt Regency Hotel, Bouddha from November 19-21.
The event is set to be inaugurated by the Prime Minister, Sher Bahadur Deuba, himself. Furthermore, the fair coordinator, Rabindra Shakya mentioned that several leading government officials, exporters and ambassadors of different countries have also been invited for the occasion.
The handicraft industry of Nepal has worked to showcase our cultural values in the international market since decades ago. However, the disastrous Covid pandemic had severely impacted upon the wellbeing of the handicraft industry of Nepal. Therefore, this event is expected to empower domestic handicraft makers and brands by providing them direct access to exporters, international buyers and other concerned stakeholders.
