Coca Cola launches ‘Kanchu Pack’
Coca Cola launched the latest and smallest version of the famous carbonated drink. The new “Kanchu Pack” comes in a bottle of 175ml and is priced at Rs 25. For the first time, the multinational giant has decided to use the “Coca Cola” logo in the Nepalese script for Kanchu Pack.
Coca Cola is undeniably amongst the forerunners of the ‘branding & marketing’ game in Nepal. Be it a festive period or any casual day of a random Nepalese satiating his/her hunger with momo, Coca Cola manages to find a place in people’s heart through its marketing prowess. Campaigns like #CokeAndMomo and #CelebratingRelationships during Dashain are the reasons why Coca Cola has managed to intensify emotional connection with the Nepalese audience.
The Kanchu Pack is another illustration of Coca Cola’s creative marketing prowess. The word “kanchu” is commonly used in Nepalese households to affectionately call the youngest in the family. This, in unison with Coca Cola’s logo in the Nepalese script, insinuates the beverage company’s intention to further strengthen connection with the local audience.
