Jeevee is rebranding itself to embody its expansion
E-commerce has been making a slow but good stride in Nepal. While online aggregator marketplaces like Daraaz and Hamrobazaar have made strong footfall in the digital space, an ultra-specific niche catering to specific products/ market segments is also slowly but surely making inroads. Following this vein, Jeevee has been providing pharmaceutical services through its e-commerce app and website since 2019.
Jeevee, founded by Mr. Aabhushan Jyoti Kansakar, gained the first-mover advantage in the e-pharmacy realm of Nepal. During its inception, there was virtually no competition in the segment. The company rose to its prominence during the rise of covid-19. While the pandemic was wreaking havoc, the team at Jeevee dedicated long hours to offering pharmaceuticals delivery services to the afflicted despite the hindrances brought upon by covid restrictions. As such, Jeevee has grown to collaborate with around 1000 brands with over 45,000 products available via their app and website. Its app has more than 200,000 downloads till date.
Jeevee – All set for Rebranding
Initially starting as an e-pharmacy platform, Jeevee has expanded its product range to healthcare, beauty, skincare, baby, household, and personal care segments. The company has dived into the e-commerce industry with a mission to make e-shopping inclusive, affordable, accessible, and trustworthy. It seeks to achieve this mission through innovative technology, standardized shipping rates, and nationwide deliveries.
With such a lofty vision ahead of itself, the decision to rebrand itself comes at the right time. The company has experienced massive growth in a relatively short period and has associated with various segments of the e-commerce industry. While its previous brand identity did a perfect job of resonating with pharmaceutical products, a redefined identity will inform the audience about Jeevee’s advent into the newer segments. The major goal of the rebranding will be to encompass all the other verticals that Jeevee has been able to capture to make them Nepal’s Biggest Health, Baby, and Beauty E-Commerce. However, the new identity will be cognizant of the company’s intent to foster the healthcare segment.
